I thought I would only ever write one book.
But then I wrote another one.
And they just keep coming...
When I started writing, I wrote books inspired by my travel adventures and teaching international primary around the world.

But then, uh-oh, global pandemic.
​
And other life complications, so without being able to travel or teach, I hunted around for an alternative to travel/memoir and found... romantic comedy!
​
Who knew?
I had no idea I would love writing romantic comedy.
It is so much fun to create characters and set them off on their journey to Happily Ever After.
We all know they are going to get there in the end, but the magic happens in the ‘how’.
​
The stories are imaginary, but I draw on real life, people and events.
​
The narrative is fast-paced, loaded with laughs, and driven by snappy dialogue, coincidence and drama: all the ups, downs, twists and turns of a rollercoaster ride.
​
I was ecstatic when I won the top spot in the Global Book Awards 2024.
​
The gold medal was a wonderful pat on the back.
